To The Editor,
Jonathan Bullock (54) lives in Northamptonshire and was number 3 on the UKIP East Midlands list in the European Elections and will replace Roger Helmer MEP who is retiring at the end of July and who had been elected along with Margot Parker MEP in the 2014 European Parliamentary elections. Jonathan will also take up the role of UKIP spokesman on Tourism issues.
Philip Hollobone kept his promise from the General Election and met with senior members of UKIP's Kettering Branch recently to discuss the progress of Brexit and his support for outlawing face coverings in public, reducing overseas aid and opposition to HS2.
JONATHAN Bullock MEP has hit out at what he calls "the muddled thinking over rail policies" which will detrimently affect the East Midlands.
I agree with those campaigning to end Big Brother-style rules that force theatregoers to drink out of plastic cups ["It's not 1984 - let us drink out of glasses, plead theatre fans", August 8].
The architect of the Hollobone-UKIP pact, Jonathan Bullock, today becomes an MEP for the East Midlands following the retirement of solid right-winger, Roger Helmer, who bows out after 18 years battling Brussels.
