I read with interest the 'warnings' that failing to agree an exit deal with the EU will lead to 'serious harm' to the economy.

Ian Baxter, from Baxter Freight in Nottingham, said 'no deal' was simply not an option for British businesses.

Part of the confusion around Brexit is our Government failing to take the lead and bowing to the EU's demands at every turn.

It is right to plan for a 'no deal', which would be considerably better for the country than a bad deal!

If we continue along the road of leaving in name only we are certain to open ourselves up to a bad deal - we cannot keep surrendering and we need to tell the EU in very clear terms that a good deal is better for us and for its member states.

If not, then we move on to WTO rules - a better option than a humiliating deal from the EU.
