In The Media » Jonathan Bullock MEP - MEPs take up seats and fight for Brexit
BREXIT Party MEPs for the East Midlands are taking up their seats in the new Parliament this week.
Sitting MEP Jonathan Bullock was re-elected and will start his new term of office, along with newly-elected MEPs Annunziata Rees-Mogg and Matthew Patten.
Mr Bullock said: "It was an election we should not have held but I was delighted the people of the East Midlands re-elected me and elected my new colleagues to fight for Brexit and honour the result of EU referendum.
"Voters have been let down by the Government and that has resulted in a clear message - we voted to leave the EU.
"The Brexit Party aims to change politics for good. We have told the Government and the political class in clear terms that they must respect and honour the wishes of the people.
"Now we must ensure we leave the EU on October 31."
